| Abstract: |
Markov Random Field modeling is a powerful parallelprocessing paradigm which can suitable deal with the huge amount of data inthe domain of low-level image processing problems. This paper describes anovel combined Simulation and semi\-conductor-technology independent VLSIdesign environment for Markov Random Field based processing models and systems. Theconcepts of the proposed novel combined Simulation- and VLSIDesign- Environment are experimentally demonstrated and proved by simulationresults and detailed chip-layouts of a special Markov Random Field, whichsimultaneously solves the image processing problem of noise removing,intensity-level preserving and intensity histogram based segmentation. |
