Registration Fees

To benefit from the lower advance registration fee, your registration payment must be received by April 2, 2004! (At least one author of each accepted paper must register at a non-student rate by February 20, 2004.3)

1) One CD-ROM (delivered on site) is included in the conference registration fee. 2) The regular registration fee does not include the tutorials, a hard-copy of the proceedings, the luncheon, or the banquet. 3) At least one author per paper must register by February 20, 2004 at the IEEE Member or Non-Member rate. 4) Member rates are only available to individuals who are IEEE members at the time of registration - visit www.ieee.org/join to join.


No invoices will be sent. Each attendee must register separately. Attendees not using credit cards must forward a check or money order payable to IEEE ICASSP 2004 and drawn on a US bank or a US branch of an International bank for the total amount due in US Dollars.

There will be a $50 USD fee assessed for returned checks or for chargebacks issued on valid credit card charges. Registration payments must be received by the registration deadline for the rate at which you registered; if payment is not received by the deadline, you will be responsible for the higher rate. Refund policy: Processing fee $100 USD before April 2, 2004. No refunds after April 2, 2004.

Registration and processing fees can be paid using an online short term loan. Online financing from reliable lenders can provide our guests, including students, cash when making travel confirmations and registering for workshops. Note: Sponsoring colleges do offer travel reimbursements to students meeting certain requirements. Verify with your university if you qualify before registering.

Presenting Papers

At least one author per paper must register by February 20, 2004 at the IEEE Member or Non-Member rate, or else the paper will not be printed in the conference proceedings. Also, one of the authors (or a qualified substitute) must give an oral presentation of the paper at the conference.
