| Abstract: |
This paper is concerned with blind separation of convolutive mixtures of mutually independent signals. We consider the MISO extraction of one source signal based on the maximization of a contrast function: a new, so-called ``reference'' contrast is proposed, which is based on cross-statistics between the estimated output and a reference signal. The proposed contrast is valid both for i.i.d. and non i.i.d. sources. It presents the advantage over other contrasts to be a quadratic function, which makes its optimization much easier to realize. Finally, simulations demonstrate the validity of this contrast and show that it leads to improved separation performances. |
