Abstract: In this paper, we present a novel chirp modulation technique thatcompletely suppresses the interference between the users in amulti-access communications system. The interference suppression isobtained by using an orthogonal set of chirp signals in the proposedmodulation scheme. Simulations results, based on Monte-Carlorealizations, show that the new technique can easily handle a largernumber of users, compared to existing techniques, without adegradation in performance.
